SLET Commission Assam (N.E. Region) administers the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET), also known as the State Eligibility Test (SET). The University Grants Commission (UGC) will use the results of this test to create a pool of qualified applicants for the National Eligibility Test (NET).
Applicants must have completed their 2-year Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree from any institution or university that is UGC-approved. The minimum percentage obtained must be 55% for the general category.
Relaxation
There is a relaxation of 5% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category candidates.
